Tumbleweed usually has several volunteer opportunities available for individual volunteers and occasionally has volunteer opportunities for group volunteers. We do not have a specific community service program or liaison. Tumbleweed usually has both long and short-term opportunities; some of these do include direct work with our youth and some are administrative only.

If you are interested in volunteering with youth, a fingerprint background check is required due to licensing regulations, a $65 cost to you. Tumbleweed will help you through the fingerprint and clearance card processes through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. As a prospective ongoing volunteer working directly with youth, you would also need to go through a formal interview and application process.

The application will also list other administrative, fundraising (special events) and facilities opportunities that are usually available on an ongoing basis.
